Mansukhdas is a family-run traditional food business based in Varanasi, a city known for its culture, heritage, and timeless traditions. For over 100 years, we have been preparing authentic achaar, papad, hing, and falhar products using traditional recipes passed down through generations.
Our journey began in 1919, when our great-grandfather started this business with a simple belief — food should be pure, honest, and made with care, just like it is prepared at home. From the very beginning, our focus has been on preserving authentic taste while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Today, we are the fourth generation of the Mansukhdas family, proudly carrying forward this legacy. Our products are still handmade in small batches, using traditional methods and natural ingredients, with no preservatives. We do not believe in shortcuts — every step, from sourcing to preparation, is done with patience and attention to detail.
For decades, local families in and around Varanasi have trusted Mansukhdas as a part of their daily meals, festivals, and fasting rituals. This long-standing relationship with our customers is our greatest strength and responsibility.
